International Women's Day Scholarship 2014

NAWIC is excited to launch its inaugural national International Women’s Day Scholarship valued at $14,000.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support for an individual to table cutting edge research designed to improve the property and construction industry.

A fundamental goal of NAWIC’s is to be a positive instrument for change – this scholarship is a critical vehicle to achieve this objective.

This scholarship represents the most significant financial contribution for an individual eager to develop a research paper internationally in the construction industry.

The successful applicant should present robust ideas to challenge existing industry thinking and outline practical recommendations for the successful implementation of these ideas.

This national scholarship has evolved out of a NSW scholarship sponsored by Corporate Culture over a period of six years. In this time, scholarship winners have driven debate and change across a broad range of areas including; the viability of high density urban planning, buildability and education, sustainable affordable housing and pathways for trades women.

Applicants are encouraged from across Australia. Applicants will be assessed against a transparent criteria by a leading academic, industry leader, last year’s winner and of course our generous and loyal sponsor Corporate Culture.
