NAWIC 2015 International Women’s Day Scholarship

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is now accepting applications for its 2015, Australia-wide, International Women’s Day Scholarship.

The IWD Scholarship Topic

The successful applicant should present robust ideas to challenge existing industry thinking and outline practical recommendations for the successful implementation of these ideas.  The type of research projects submitted should focus on the current gender equity initiatives like those discussed at the G20 summit discussions, the Male Champions of Change initiative, 25 x 25, WGEA Gender Pay Gap initiatives, and work on how to effectively incorporate into today’s business strategies.  It is intended that the research could then be introduced to the NAWIC Board, Operations, and to our partners to be able to incorporate into business practices in line with the NAWIC Vision and Mission and to better the economic growth of Australia in the construction and related industries.

Applications will be accepted from around Australia until 4pm on Friday 12th February 2015.
