School Pathways to VET Award Free Webinar Presented by the Australian Training Awards in partnership with VETnetwork Australia

Join us for this dynamic webinar on how to apply for the School Pathways to VET Award – which recognises eligible organisations including schools, registered training organisations (RTOs), industry bodies, employers that have collaboratively delivered an exemplary vocational education and training (VET) program to secondary school students.

Who should attend?

Representatives from registered training organisations and/or secondary schools that provide nationally recognised training to school students.

The webinar will be hosted by Mike Frost, a highly experienced Australian Training Awards evaluator and Patrick O’Reilly from Southern Cross Catholic Vocational College who has won the Schools Pathways to VET Award in 2013 and 2015. Patrick will be able to give insights on their application process and what it has meant to the school winning the Award. 

The panel will offer advice including:

  • information about why applying can benefit you or your organisation including advice from past winners/finalists who have participated in the Australian Training Awards;
  • how to address the selection criteria;
  • how to present the application; and
  • information about the judging process, shortlisting process and the judging day.

There will also be a question and answer session for you to seek further information about participating in the Australian Training Awards. This session is a must for those considering applying for the 2016 Australian Training Awards!
