WA Women Win Prestigious Construction Awards

Women working in the construction industry have been recognised at the 2013 National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Western Australia Crystal Vision Awards.

Women working in the construction industry have been recognised at the 2013 National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Western Australia Crystal Vision Awards.

The Crystal Vision Awards are held annually to recognise and celebrate the top achievements of women in the construction industry.

The five award categories honoured women for their outstanding contributions to the industry across different areas including Design, Environmental Sustainability, Leadership, Business, and as a Student, Apprentice or Trainee.

A panel of industry experts selected winners based on strict award criteria.

Winners of the 2013 NAWIC Awards of Excellence are:

  • ISIS Crystal Vision Award - WINNER: Melanie Marshall and Kathleen Kusinsk, MKDC
  • Lend Lease Innovation in Design Award - WINNER: Amanda Pryce, Aurecon
  • Bremick Outstanding Contribution to Construction Award - WINNER: Kavita Devaharan, Brookfield Multiplex Australasia
  • Encycle Consulting Triple Bottom Line Sustainability Award - WINNER: Leigh Gibb, Norman Disney & Young
  • Swan Office Interiors Tradeswoman, Apprentice or Student of the Year Award - WINNER: Kristy Dyson, Doric Contractors
